Kristen Simpson has a degree in Merchandising from Louisiana Tech University. She began her career working as a Visual Merchandiser and Manager for a Japanese retailer in the New Orleans area in the early 1990's. Kristen  has also worked in this same capacity for a US-based Fortune 500 retailer. In 1992, Kristen moved to Europe to work for a large fashion house for several years. After returning to the states, in 1995, Kristen enjoyed a successful career within a Fortune 500 company in New Orleans. In 2002, after the birth of her second child, Kristen made a decision to leave the corporate world and pursue her passion of working for herself and creating a better balance in both her professional and personal life.

Kristen is, by nature, an organizer and the person that friends and family have always relied on to help them with their organizational and redesign endeavors. Kristen is a born entrepreneur and a self confessed “life long learner".

In addition to her innate organizational ability, Kristen has always had a love for real estate. She recently considered a career in real estate sales. Kristen completed the real estate course and realized that she would much rather help people stage their homes for sale and use her merchandising background to her clients’ advantage. Kristen has studied staging from two staging mentors to obtain different perspectives and to stay “up to date” on the newest trends in the staging industry. This, combined with her experience buying and selling 4 of her own homes in less than ten years, makes staging and Kristen a winning combination. She realized, while having her own home on the market, that she had a talent for staging. All of the real estate agents commented on how wonderful her home looked at every showing, despite having young children at home. The key is living in a home that is organized and clutter-free.

Kristen enjoys working with people and helping them achieve their goals. She has studied Life Coaching at the Thomas Leonard School of Coaching with an emphasis in helping others get organized. Kristen holds a certification as a trainer for Covey’s “7 Habits for Effective Families” and was trained personally by John Covey. She is also a trained public speaker and has spoken to young people representing Monster.com’s “Making it Count Program”. She also speaks to women’s groups on time management, organization and finding your passion.
